The Aman Dosti Yatra from Delhi to Wagah Border was warm welcomed by Des Haryana at Parakeet situated in Pipli. 40 social workers are participating in a journey being organized for Indo-Pak friendship in celebration of Independence Day. Starting on August 12, the trip will be organized by senior journalist Kuldip Nayar, Dr. Mohini Giri, former member of the Planning Commission, Dr. Syeda Hamid, Ramesh Chandra Sharma, Sister Veena, senior administrative officer Jayawanti Sheyakand and Ram Mohan Roy on the evening of August 14.
Wagah will reach the Border and burn candles and pay tribute to their fellow revolutionaries. Welcoming the Aman-Dosti Yatra in Parakeet of Pipli, Dr. Subhash Chandra, Editor of Des Haryana said that the visit is representing the feelings of the people of both the countries. He hoped this journey will give people a message of brotherhood and peace.
